Last Friday, the inaugural Master Yau Chau Culture and Art Scholarship was presented to three young artists from Lifewire. Lana Wong (Ha Wai BB) also came to cheer them on.\u003c\/h4\u003e\n\u003ch4\u003eThese include Tse Cheuk Yau (YY), who has Spinal Muscular Atrophy and only has strength in three fingers of her right hand and slight movement in her left. She hopes to use her small strength to create more works, preserving \"human touch\" and warmth to heal the hearts of others. She overcame physical obstacles, and her works have been entered into competitions and exhibited in the USA.\u003c\/h4\u003e\n\u003ch4\u003ePak Hei Yau, who has Developmental Dysplasia of the Hip and frequently undergoes surgeries, has won multiple awards in painting competitions. She hopes to continue using her brush to record intangible cultural heritage so more children can learn about it.\u003c\/h4\u003e\n\u003ch4\u003eYee Lam, the sister of Art Heritage community mentors Ka Wa and Yau Tsun (who have Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia), has a profound interest in traditional culture and even wrote a thesis on Hong Kong-style flower plaques.\u003c\/h4\u003e\n\u003ch4\u003eBehind every one of their works is a passion for culture and life.
