Thank you to the Hong Kong Disneyland Community Sharing Program for donating tickets, allowing over 15 families with rare diseases to enjoy a day at Disneyland.
Despite the hot weather, the children with rare diseases were even more enthusiastic than the sun!

Lam Bok Yin, who has Rubinstein-Taybi syndrome, was laughing and playing the whole time, pulling his mom around to play 9 rides.
Bok Yin's mom said her legs were incredibly sore, like she had just finished an endurance race.

Chu Yan Hei, who relies on a wheelchair after developing Guillain-Barré syndrome 3 years ago, also had a great time, riding "Mystic Manor" three times, then rushing to play "Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle!" twice. She also challenged the Paratroopers and watched the spectacular fireworks show before leaving.
Her mom chuckled and said, "Her electric wheelchair is faster than me; she kept going to get stamps." Her parents kept lifting her from her wheelchair to the rides and back. The whole family was like champions in an ironman endurance race.
But her mom's biggest wish is: "Every time, I hope that next time I won't have to carry her up; that she can walk up and play by herself like she used to."
Chu Yat Long and his younger brother even caught Armored Mewtwo in Pokémon GO at the park. They had fun and got something out of it!
