After rebirth, he installed electronic prosthetic limbs, he re-learn to eat, typing and standing. Less than a year after the injury, on 21 Sept, he is back to school teaching.

45-year-old Wang Zhiyuan climbing at Yilan with his girlfriend in the beginning of September last year, he felt the physical discomfort and persistent fever when back to Kaohsiung. He went to emergency room; the blood pressure was less than 100 but heartbeat was up to 130. He was septic shock and Multiple organ dysfunction, he admitted to the intensive unit at that the night and the hospital issued a critical condition notice next day.
Wang Zhiyuan recalled that two weeks after the amputation, he cannot not stand up and have ever thought about " the idea to die." Later on equipped with electronic prosthetic limbs and but still not easy for him re-training to walk, learning to adapt to the electronic limbs. He said "hand to use fork to eat spaghetti more than three months, the table also often mess." But he never admitted defeat and continuing rehabilitation, he returns to school teaching on 21 Sept.
