Lifewire played volleyball with Chan Tsz-kin, who has Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Hong Kong team representatives and first-division players were also on the same court. Quite enviable, right?
Actually, Lifewire was the beneficiary organization of the 'Proud Creation x Lifewire Charity Volleyball Match.' On Sunday, they went together to the Southorn Indoor Volleyball Court in Wan Chai to participate. They really did play volleyball… during the opening ceremony. Chan Tsz-kin also shared his rare life experiences, thanking his family and friends for their support in overcoming challenges, helping to raise the audience’s awareness about rare diseases.
At this event, there were also former and current Hong Kong team representatives, as well as first-division players, who took to the court for an intense match, diving and giving it their all. They even signed a volleyball and presented it to Tsz-kin. Singer-songwriter Vince Leung and 9-year-old singer-songwriter rising star Hazel Luk served as ambassadors of love, cheering everyone on.
Thank you to Proud Creation Commerce Association and the Hong Kong Volleyball Training Institute for organizing the event. Special thanks to So Ma's Kitchen, Swing.Artist, Villa26, AuthenticTalent, iMCDigitalMediaLimited, and the Hong Kong Children's Magician Association for sponsoring the event. Although we may not be very skilled at volleyball, we share the same passion. Thank you all for spreading warmth to children with rare diseases through this match.
