With Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day arriving one after another, Lifewire took advantage of the festive season to host a celebration last night! Over a hundred people gathered at Lee Lung Heen in Kowloon Bay for a joyful reunion.

The night was also a special celebration for Chan Ka-wa, who lives with Hereditary Spastic Paraplegia (HSP). Representing Hong Kong at the 2025 World Abilitysport Games, Ka-wa achieved an incredible feat by winning two golds and one silver!

Our mentor, Sing Sir, prepared a light-up support board to cheer on this "World Number One," while the room erupted with deafening applause and cheers from everyone present.

Lifewire’s team—Lia, Christy, and Yannis—prepared a variety of exciting games. The warm-up game "Guess the Song" evolved into a mini-concert. Yiu Sum-yuet, a young boy with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), performed "Snail," revealing his surprisingly beautiful singing voice to the crowd. During the "Scavenger Hunt" game, every table went all out, jokingly "offering up" mothers, teacups, jackets, and watches to win!

The climax of the evening was undoubtedly the lucky draw. In addition to 10 boxes of natural handmade soaps (valued at $128 each) and healthy tea donated by Simon from GoodShowTV, the organizers provided $1,000 in cash prizes. Generous donors even topped up the prize pool on the spot! The final draw was conducted by our special guests, Lana Wong (Ha-wai BB) and Ms. Xu Baofeng.

Congratulations to Ka-yan, Ka-ka, Hiu-chun, Ka-wa, and all the winners! With snacks from Melody Store and gift hampers for every family gifted by Mr. Pang Yat-ting, founder of Lifewire, everyone went home with their hands full and hearts happy.

We hope everyone carries these heartfelt blessings into the New Year!
