During the winter solstice on December 22, Lifewire brought 60 families of patients with multiple rare diseases including Duchenne muscular dystrophy, mucopolysaccharidosis, developmental hip dysplasia, Rett's disease, tuberous sclerosis, scoliosis, as well as autism, intellectual disability and learning disabilities to participate in the Christmas party hosted by "A Cup of Cool Water Co., Ltd.", a charity foundation founded by entertainer Mr. Wong Cho Lam and his wife Leanne Li, to celebrate Christmas in advance and spend the winter together.
There was non-stop laughter at the beginning of the event. It turned out that "是非精" artists Ka-ki Leung and Louis Yuen were the emcees of the event. The positive energy and funny atmosphere instantly infected the audience.
In addition to eating and drinking, there was also a magic show by Sunny , the original children's program host, and a group of Hong Kong Christian singers sang a series of Christmas songs to entertain the guests, which made the children scream with excitement and the atmosphere was very lively. Artist May Chan (Ka Kai) also transformed into "Santa's Wife" to play games and gave Christmas gifts to the children in the art training class. All the children went home with great gifts.
All the families with rare diseases were smiling, and Lifewire hopes to celebrate Christmas with everyone every year.
