"I've never tried to go to the cinema..." This is what a child from the lower-income class said.
Currently, the price of a 3D movie ticket in a cinema can easily exceed $100. For poor families, this is the price of several meals.
And for sick children with limited mobility, they are more afraid of going to the cinema, because when they make a different laugh, they are easily looked down upon.
However, yesterday (December 20), all the children were able to enjoy the Little Prince 3D movie under the same screen.
On Christmas Eve, the Pearl Island Lions Club invited five charities through Lifewireyes to help these children fulfill their little wishes, including Mission To The New Arrivals Limited, Hong Kong Southern District Women's Association, Love Neighbourhood Centre, Hong Kong Red Cross John F. Kennedy Centre and The society for the Relief of Disabled Children came together to provide warmth to the children..
In fact, helping others does not only require donating money or holding charity sales. If you have a "very good" or "very exciting" idea, don't hesitate, start a fundraising event!
