Hong Kong Construction Association Young Members Society (YMS) and Lifewire jointly launched「築動童樂嘉年華」which was held on November 18 last year. Through a series of booth games and performances, the public's understanding of the construction industry was enhanced. Barrier-free facilities were also set up to promote the spirit of inclusion for the disabled and the able-bodied, allowing participants to mingle with sick children and wheelchair users.

Deputy Secretary of the Development Bureau, Mr. Liew Chin-sin, officiated at the ceremony and accompanied the sick children across the "Bridge of Hearts" (築動心橋) which symbolised the companionship of the disabled and the healthy.

Event emcee Vicky Lam (right) and Lifewire interviewed rare disease patients Hester Chan (first from left) and Chu Yat Long (second from right) about their patient experiences.

Singer Feanna Wong and various disabled and healthy groups also showed their talents for the sick children, including wheelchair martial arts, band and dance performances.

Lifewire founder, Engineer Ir Dr. Derrick Pang, also came on stage to sing a song with the sick children, and the audience applauded!

Whether you are an adult, a child, or a sick child in a wheelchair, you can have a lot of fun!
