【Tsz Kin receives home visit from the Secretary: I hope to try new drugs!】

Tsz Kin who suffers from "Duchenne Muscular Dystroph", was very busy yesterday. Not only did he accept an exclusive interview with online media Good Show TV, but the Secretary for Environment and Ecology, Mr TSE Chin-wan, BBS, JP, and the Director of the New Territories Work Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Lei Gai Ji, also visited his home.

Chen Tsz Kin reflected to the Secretary that the lack of accessibility facilities between the Hong Kong Red Cross Princess Alexandra School and Lam Tin Station, where he and his disabled friends attend, make wheelchair users have to travel 30 minutes longer than the average person, and they have to travel through  steep and dangerous mountain roads to get to school in the sun and rain.

He gave his own paintings and a carefully crafted miniature calendar to the two visitors, saying that the calendar symbolizes his life passing by bit by bit, reminding everyone to cherish life and to always remind himself to make good use of the remaining time left to shine.

In recent days, Lifewire and Good Show TV have also visited Ka Wah, her brother Yau Chun and 佩珊: Since switching to electric wheelchairs, the Ka Wah family has been hoping to relocate to a public housing with wider access to facilitate showering and overall access. 佩珊 who is currently studying for a master's degree and has always hoped to be self-reliant, has been working hard to write a new "petition", hoping that the government can seperate Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) from medical subsidies, This enables them to contribute to society without losing the subsidy for medical expenses.

As for the laptop that 佩珊 had been looking for for a long time and was the only one that was suitable for her, it was unexpectedly found by Good Show TV and donated by a caring person. The program staff also helped 佩珊 set up the computer on the spot, which surprised her.

佩珊 took the opportunity to give computer manufacturers a business opportunity: she called on manufacturers to design computers suitable for her and for people with disabilities. The joke is that there are billions of demand in this market worldwide, which is a good business opportunity.
If you want to keep up to date with the latest conditions of the sick children, stay tuned to the interviews on Lifewire and Good Show TV!
